| Arrive at Narita, check in through
customs and immigration and find that Lisa has been detained over
her possession of a temporary passport. We have no choice but
to leave her and hope its all sorted on Monday morning. We take the Narita Express to the Kimi Ryokan. The accommodation is good, we are all shattered and want to go to bed !! Sensei Scott and Alan both push us to stay awake and take food at the local inn. My first taste of grapefruit sours. House rules are you must make mae geri before leaving our dining area (few drinks later the technique has really improved). Back to the Ryokan with a good atmosphere in the crew which is even bettered when we find Lisa has been released hoorah. We take to our beds some of us newcomers fearful of what Kangeiko holds for us. |
